blows all highlighters out of the water

love it! long lasting and multi-use.. what more can you ask for? this is my new favourite highlighter.. its just amazing! it catches the light beautifully and is very easily blendable, which ive found to be my biggest problems with highlighters such as high beam.

im pretty sure this is the worlds worst mascara

seriously. no joke. and it SMELLS. it smells terrible. i just.. ugh.. i like the size of the brush but thats it. i literally have piled coat after coat.. and still looks like my lashes are bare, but droopier. fail.

ouch

i get it. its cheap. its excellently priced, actually. and for the first two uses i was like whoa! what a deal. by the third use, i noticed a lash stuch on it. by the fourth, a few more, by the fifth, that black rubber pad in the curler? yeah, that had fallen out. i tried again [its less than two bucks i figured id give it a second chance], same thing... even if it lasted like, ten curls, that'd be fine, but really?? just further proves why i hate elf.

a must have for all beauties

im sorry, but this brush kicks any brushes butt. it is by far my favourite. ive never seen anything better. its all the mac artists go to brush for eyes, and for good reason!

great for fair skinned beauties

this comes in a light and a fair shade, so its easy to match.. if im the second lightest then there's definitely a shade for you, hehe.. it offers great coverage on its own but i usually used it over top of my liquid.. good stuff.. not sure about bang for its buck though.. but then again i find tarte to be ridiculously overpriced..

the packagine is lovely though, its soft and purple, teehee.. it also has a sponge in the bottom compartment. and its got spf. yay!

great mascara

well this was the first oscillating mascara that made it big, i think, and for good reason. you get AMAZING length, super volume, and defined beautiful lashes. theres no need to wiggle the wand, there's no need to use short quick strokes, to separate with an eyelash comb, etc.. this literally accomplishes all that for you. this really makes a difference. its missing half a star because of the price, and the price only, because mascara goes bad so quickly, but this really is cream of the crop when it comes to mascara.

perfect

im so glad i purchased this. i always have an issue with lipliner. i can apply it, sure, but i always thought, isnt the purpose to hold it in? therefore by where im applying it im cutting off half my lip.. then if i went outside the natural lipline with it, well hey drag queen, whats up?

then came this.. you apply it outside your lip, aka on your skin, lol... it feels waxy... and it just contains all your lip colour perfectly.. <3 and its clear so it matches all colours.. love!

worth the price

this is amazing stuff. seriously. i wanted it since i was like 15 but couldnt justify the price [its around forty bucks or so here in canada], i finally got it, and ive used it right up! what i didnt use is dry now [it is a cream after all] but it was mostly just the lilac illuminating colour that remained untouched because i have my own preferred ways of illuminating.

so to elaborate, this comes with five shades.. three concealing shades, the dark shade is actually used for contouring as well, or to mix with the lighter to create a custom match.. sounds like a pain but its not that difficult! and the beigey yellow colour is for those blue veins around your eye, that are along the sides of your nose.. i kinda questioned it at first because its VERY beige and yellowy, but once you put it on, you'll see-it really works. after i use that shade i can skip undereye concealer altogether usually..

the green is obviously for correcting redness... i used it for zits then layered concealer overtop [as i said, wanted this when i was in my teens.. lots of zits!]

i'll admit i barely touched the lilac illuminator but when i did, it lived up to its promise. i just prefer a more dramatic highlight.

it comes with a paper insert with a face drawn and all the areas plus which colour to use for that area, and if you get confused after you throw the paper out, on the bottom of the package itself, it divides it like a pie and tells you what each one is and what its for.

great investment

how are there not more reviews on this

i have about seventeen pigments lol.

they're called pigments for a reason! the colour payoff is amazing. i have platinum from a pro store, if you have a pro store near you i'd definitely rec. buying it, it looks like tinfoil. full force violet is a wild colour, i also have regular violet, a very wearable purple [sorry guys there are no swatch options for reviewing this], blue brown is AMAZING, as well as naked, jigs and jive, and many more limited editions.

just beware, many claim that theyre not for use on the eye or lip area [or both!] but who am i to lie? i use them there anyway.

heeeeavy coverage

that being said, if heavy coverage is what youre searching for, this is for you. i use this only on blemishes because its so thick.. its like stick foundation in a concealer form.. but it HIDES what you want, guaranteed.. just work fast with regards to blending.. and if youre using it in the eye area, keep away from fine lines that are closer to the rims.. =]
