Some setting powder claims are easy to test at a desk. Others require sneakers.

Sweaty, but no streaks after a run with the Natasha Denona HY-GLAM Setting Powder

When a powder claims to be sweat- and water-resistant, there’s really only one reasonable thing to do: wear it on a morning run in humid Atlanta summer. Yes, a run.

I never work out in makeup, but anything in the name of science. I applied my current go-to base products—Natasha Denona HY-GLAM Foundation and HY-GLAM Concealer—set everything with the new HY-GLAM™ Setting Powder, and headed out knowing I would sweat.

The short answer? It passed.

Mid-run, I was surprised to see no streaks despite the sweat. Afterward, I blotted everything away, fully expecting to see foundation, concealer, and possibly my dignity come off with it. Instead, there was no visible transfer. Even better, my base was fully intact.

Not “good considering I just ran” good. Actually good.

Blotting away sweat and makeup stays in place!

Some powders look fine until moisture gets involved, then they start to cling, separate, or turn patchy around the nose, cheeks, and forehead. This one did not. My base stayed even and my complexion still looked smooth without any patchiness in sight.

I don’t know if Natasha set out to create workout-proof makeup, but this powder certainly passed my test.
