"On Friday, I worked with Lucy Hale for the Young Hollywood Awards," makeup artist Monika Blunder said, "I had never worked with Lucy and I have to tell you—she is gorgeous and lovely. I wanted to keep her looking young and fresh. She has beautiful eyes so I focused on doing a smoky eye and keeping the rest of the face natural.”
Monika started off with Suqqu Foundation in Shade 20. This is a quite heavy foundation but if you apply it with a foundation brush and blend with a beauty blender sponge, you will see how light the base looks on the skin. On her eyes, she used MAC Eyeshadow in Shroom all over the lid, and MAC Eyeshadow in Satin Taupe on the center part of the eye, working it more to the outer corner. Then she used NARS Eyeshadow in Brumes in the socket line and on the upper and lower lash line. Monika lined the inside of her eye with MAC Kohl Pencil in Prunella. To finish the eyes, Monika coated Lucy's lashes with Diorshow Mascara in Black. She then applied NARS Bronzing Powder in Laguna, and a little bit of Make up Forever HD Blush #14 on the apples of her cheek. Monika used NARS Lipstick Roman Holiday, one of her favorite shades, on Lucy's lips.”
