RIP Adora

For those Adora fans out there... The best way to describe the Adora lipstick was that it looked like your lips were the color of a Christmas bow. Sadly, the Adora line has been discontinued. But you can get that same look with the new Foiled collection that comes in a wide selection of colors varying from a poppy red to an amethyst with micro glitter!
I will be sorry to see this beautiful shiny red shade go, and will be conserving the sparkle for as long as I can.

My favorite face powder so far!
I picked up this pressed powder in shade 20 to replace my Benefit Hello Flawless which is a shade too light for my summer tan. Not only is the blu_ray powder less expensive, when I use it with the blu_ray activating primer, it looks so smooth after application. It doesn't settle into my fine lines and pores the way certain mineral foundations tend to. And with a bit of extra layering, it even covers the rosacea on my cheeks without looking cakey or having to use any liquid foundation. I like it the result even more than with the Benefit powder. Bonus!

Awesome mascara for summer!
As a contact lens wearer, I am totally loving this mascara. It stays put, doesn't flake into my eyes or cause irritation, and is still really easy to wash off. I got this product as part of the Mediterranean Collection. The full size mascara by itself is $20 usd, but the kit is only $34 usd and also includes a full-size Mendocino Blush, a full-size Eye Shadow Duo in shimmering copper and gold (perfect for attaining the trendy metallic eye that is so hot right now), a travel-size Swimmables waterproof eye pencil in Teal and a travel-size Lip Gloss in Morocco, in addition to the full-size Better-than-waterproof Mascara. There is not a single product in this kit that I don't love! The perfect palette for daytime and beginners
I got the warm neutral palette as part of the 7 in 7 kit, in light/medium. It's an ideal set of shadows for everyday, and doesn't fade when used with a good lid primer.
This light collection is sold out, but you can still the warm medium kit on their site. Amazing pencil keeps lipgloss from bleeding and evens out my lip line!
I found this pencil a few years back at Sephora, and picked up the #2 shade but wasn't a big fan since it didn't really match my skin tone. I recently rediscovered it as part of the 7 in 7 kit, in light/medium, which includes the #1 shade. Now that I have played with it a bit and figured out how to blend it around my lips properly, I am loving it!! The Gold Eyelighter is perfect for brightening that trendy metallic eye look!
Love this product! The end for the inner corner has a rounded sponge tip, and the end for the outer corner has a pointed sponge tip, which makes application much more precise than with other liquid highlighters I have used previously and no longer use around my eyes since finding this perfect tool. I have a fairly light complexion and the gold color still looks fab!
