I hunt them down on Ebay!

I found the Wet n' Wild Craze Nail Color on CVS's website a couple months ago, and purchased the only two shades they offered on sale for $1.59 from $1.99. After many online searches, I could only find these polishes sold online with CVS and Ebay.

The formula is a quite sheer color with micro glitters The polish applies pretty nice, the glitters are not chunky or gritty after drying. I was really surprised by the glitters because in the bottle it looks like a shimmer polish, but after applying you can see it's on the sheerer side and packed with these micro glitters. I only had to apply two coats to get a full coverage, although the Goldmine shade is still sheer enough to see the whites of my nails through the two coats. The brush is mediocre, it doesn't really fan out much, so it takes a few strokes to fill the nail bed width.

I wore both of these shades, lazily without a base coat or top coat, and they lasted about 5 days before chipping started. I had been doing my regular domestic chores and I did chip a couple nails on the kitchen cupboards (because we don't have knobs to open them, so I always have to grab the edges to open the doors). Then when I removed the polishes, it was so smooth and easy to remove. The glitters are so tiny that they don't really stick to the nails, it was pretty fun removing the polishes! :)

In conclusion, if you can find these polishes I would definitely recommend picking up some of the glittery ones because they are fun to apply, wear and remove.

If I could give this 6 stars, I would!

A couple weeks ago I received the Parian Spirit Professional Makeup Brush Cleaner Wipe and Spray from Stylez4Women.com So, the other day I finally got around to cleaning my makeup brushes, and decided to try out these two products and film a first impressions video while I was at it! (who doesn't love some cosmetic/blogger multi-tasking!) In summary - I'm IN LOVE with this brush cleaner! So much that I wish I knew about this brand before I bought the MAC brush cleaner, because you use less product, it's a dry cleaning and it conditions your brushes to the point they feel brand new!!! No joke people, I was sitting there petting my brushes for minutes! :) Oh, and the smell is not overpowering with alcohol, like some other brush cleaners tend to be, it's a pleasant citrus scent that smells clean and fresh. Even my boyfriend came in the room and said it smelled good! It lightly lingers on the brushes, but I quite like that. The dry time is phenomenal, I was able to use my brushes later on that day to do my makeup for my night out. You can purchase Parian Spirit from select locations per their website, or you can purchase the bottle and immersion tub on Amazon.

The brush cleaning spray feels like a very light oil (reminded me of a wood polisher at first) and has a pleasantly light citrus scent. I was able to clean my liquid foundation paddle brush, which I usually leave last to clean because it takes to long to remove all the makeup - this brush cleaning spray cleaned it in less than 3 minutes! I then cleaned my powder foundation brush, which is dark haired and you wouldn't be able to see the difference - but it came out so clean that the conditioning factor of the spray even made the hairs shine! Next I cleaned my liquid foundation stipple duo-fibre brush. This brush was probably my favorite to clean with the Parian Spirit spray because after 2 minutes of swirling it was completely white and so soft that I was literally speechless!

I hope this was informative and helpful if you're looking to cut down the cleaning process and save money on a high quality brush cleaner! I also do a few demonstrations in the video on using the brush cleaning wipe with eye makeup brushes and using the brush cleaning spray bottle with face makeup brushes.

Cheap Price - Good Quality! Typical WnW :)

(shades: 2% Milk, Haze of Love) I have seen the Wet n' Wild Mega Last Nail Color polishes on CVS's website for months, and I finally gave them a shot. They only had two colors on the site, so I bought both of them for $1.99 each. At first I was a bit skeptical of Wet n' Wild polishes, I had never used them before and thought the quality would fit the price - cheap. I wore both shades for a week (7 days) and both began to chip around the 6th day. I do a lot of chores and rough up my hands a lot during my domestic chores, so to help out the polish I used CND's base coat and top coat. The chipping wasn't really bad either, just a few corners here and there and barely noticeable.

The formula is a bit thin, but two coats creates an opaque coverage. As for the brush, I love and hate it... I love the shape of it and how short it is - I holds less product so you don't have to scrape any off before applying to the nail... I hate the material the brush is made of - some chopped up plastic stuff (I don't really know, that's just me guess). The brush tends to leave streaks on the first coat, and by the second coat I use a lighter hand and it sort of blends itself out.

There are 18 shades listed on Wet n' Wild's website - and based off the swatches on their site, I'm excited to find these and buy them all :) In conclusion, I really like these polishes. They are inexpensive, non clumping formula, can last up to a week before chipping, the brush is a great shape and makes applying much quicker with less strokes needed, and the color selection is very attractive.

This is my first time using an eye brightener, and now I'm hooked!

Eyes Lips Face aka ELF Cosmetics released a new item in their mineral line, the ELF Mineral Eye Brightener is a light weight, light attracting powder. I was intrigued by this product - if it could in fact brighten the eye area for only $3.00, then I might just make this a permanent item in my collection. I personally don't use eye brightening techniques because my face is pretty flat and I feel like I get plenty of light around my eyes. I have worn this eye brightener on top of a full face of makeup and on a bare face. I really adore this eye brightener! The powder is very light weight, and after blending it into the skin it looks like it just disappears, but once you begin moving your face in the light, you can definitely see the brightening effect. Even on a bare face, this eye brightener looks very natural, it doesn't leave behind a powdery effect - it seems to just sink in and get to work. It's pretty amazing, without shimmer or being too chalky, this eye brightener really does it's job. I used a MAC 275 brush to apply and blend into the under eye area I can honestly say that this product has turned me from a person who never touched an eye brightener to a person who uses it almost daily for a young and healthy glow. I recommend this product to people looking to add a little glow to their complexion, mostly I love that you can wear it without any other makeup and it still looks natural - so all you anti-makeup people can enjoy this product as well!

No yellowing or staining at all!

The base coat is a bit thicker than some other base coats I've used in the past, it applies smooth and dries very quickly. When I apply color on top of the base coat, it doesn't bubble up (I say this because most base coats do this on my nails - I'm not sure why), and when I remove the color my nails are not stained in the tiniest bit! That, I appreciate the most because nothing's worse than your favorite shade staining or yellowing your natural nails making them look unhealthy.

No chipping for up to 8 days!

The top coat is probably my favorite out of all my top coats! I did 3 separate tests to see how long my nail color would last before chipping, and overall this top coat boosts longevity to about 8 days before chipping begins. That's assuming you are not doing heavy labor or scratching things all day long. I do regular domestic chores, so it made me pretty happy to know that even though my hands are always getting wet and dirty, my nail color lasted a week. The consistency is similar to a nail polish, it's not super thick like some other top coats tend to be and it dries in a moderate amount of time. LOVE IT! :)

Pairing Colour & Effects can expand your collection without breaking the bank :)

A couple months ago I discovered CND (Creative Nail Designs) from a random nail polish internet search. I began reading up on the company and was really interested in trying them out.

The thing I love about CND's Colour and Effect polishes, is the customization and individuality it promotes. Instead of browsing through lines searching for the type of color and finish that attracts you the most, you can choose your own shades and how you want the finish to look. I have enjoyed sporting the same colors with different effects to create completely different styles to match my moods or events.

I have paired 3 different CND Colours with 3 different CND Effects to show (on my blog) just how diverse your nails and creativity can be with just a few polishes. This is particularly great for people who are not huge polish collectors, but from time to time enjoy a little color or even sparkle. You only need a few polishes to create your own shades!

These combinations are fantastic to play with and create your own nail fashions. Photos of combinations can be found on my blog: http://www.beautybykrystal.com/2011...

I love it so much, I ordered 5 more ;)

The ELF Essentials Nourishing Cuticle Pen is only $1.00, so I figured if this could do a good job at keeping my nails looking their best - then I'm going to stock up! And, guess what? This cuticle pen is pretty great! It's not like most cuticle pens that have a brush tip, this tip is more like a marker tip which is soaked with the nourishing formula: Fortified with Vitamins E, A, C, Pro-Vitamin B5 and Aloe, this fast-acting complex deeply hydrates, nourishes and seals in moisture. The key ingredients Avocado and Almond Oils help to condition nails and cuticles for improved appearance.

I personally prefer this tip because it doesn't apply too much liquid, making my fingers messy and getting on my clothes. You just run the pen along the the cuticles and nail edges, and on any super dry or damaged sections just hold the tip there for a few seconds to saturate that area. I love that the liquid is not runny or greasy - it soaks into the skin pretty quick and leaves your fingers looking freshly manicured! It doesn't say online or on the tube how much product you get - but for a dollar, it can't be too much. I still think it's worth the buck! This product is amazing and I extremely recommend it to everybody!!

TIP: Sign up with Eyes Lips Face to receive newsletters of sales, discounts, special offers - you might just get lucky and get these cuticle pens half off!

Decent Nail Color for only $.49!

First off, this polish doesn't have any of those mixing balls inside, so when you shake it, you just have to believe it's mixing up. After opening the bottle, the brush it pretty standard - square shaped and medium in length - it is however pretty stiff and when applying the polish the brush doesn't seem to fan out enough to work properly. The formula is very thin, but two coats will get you an opaque full coverage. In the bottle, this polish looks like a deep blue, but once it is applied there are subtle blue shimmers in it and the color is actually similar to a true denim shade (I could not get this to look correct in the photos though). The polish is very pigmented and after removing it there was slight discoloration, even when a base coat was used.

I wore this polish for about a week and after 3 days this polish began chipping very easy, by the 6th day I had to remove it because it looked pretty shabby. This polish is decent, for $.49 I didn't expect much. I wouldn't go and buy all the shades, but this would be great for younger people who like bright/trendy colors but don't have the money to buy higher quality products.
