So good, I bought them all!
They're light but still leave a beautiful sheer wash of color on the lips. I love each and every color from the lip butter collection. I wear them over matte lipsticks or lip liners or alone and sometimes with a sparkly gloss on top for some extra OOMPH! I love the packing since you can automatically tell which shade is which. I wouldn't say that they ADD any moisture to my lips like a lip treatment would but they're not drying on my lips either. Try applying a light layer of balm underneath. I didn't buy them to use as a treatment so I don't mind that extra step.
This palette is this the bomb!
This is such a fun collection. The two outer rows of shadows are all gorgeous neutrals. The left row consists of all lighter shimmery day shades and the right all richly deep evening shades. And then the center row just POPS with an "in your face" pink, bright purple and blues. The top center light shimmery pink is stunning worn in the inner corner. Ugh. I just die for this palette. So pigmented. So pretty. So worth the buy.
I can't sharpen these. Whyyyy
I love these. I apply the NYX skin toned base and these on top. I don't experience creasing and the shadow applies smoothly and evenly over the primer-combo. I just cannot sharpen the darn things! I have the NYX sharpener. They just semi-sharpen and it takes forever. I know they can be depotted but come on, I'm real lazy. I will continue to purchase and then get frustrated when I can't sharpen them. :) I do love them anyway.
Just being honest...
I do love me some MAC lipstick. The pigmentation, variety of shades and finishes, and price (compared to other high end brands) are all wonderful. Truly wonderful. I urge any makeup addict to have several in their collection just because. But...I do not think there is anything wildly special about the formula or anything. For instance, Revlon lipsticks are insanely comparable and about half the price.
Disappearing Act
Initially this concealer was great. It was very opaque and it didn't take much at all to achieve the desired <a href='http://coverage.My' rel='nofollow' target='_blank'>coverage.My</a> dark spots and active breakouts were gone and I was really stoked on this since it was "amazing" and basically dirt cheap. After I finished my makeup I spent about 20 minutes putzing around the house before work. When I looked in the mirror before I left, the concealer was gone. Weirdest.thing.ever. I haven't tried it since. Just to add, I do set my concealer/foundation with powder. I was pretty bummed.
Best Foundation Ever!
This foundation is amazing! It feels light on the skin, yet covers up imperfections to provide a flawless finish. I have oily skin and most foundations begin to wear off after 3 or 4 hours. This foundation stays semi-matte and lasts through my 10+ hour work days. I use a damp beauty blender to apply it and it sets beautifully! Double Wear is a must-have for oily skin types. Love this stuff!
