I especially want to thank Alma, she let me know it was normal to feel how I was feeling, and she gave me tips on how to move forward with my designs! Alma I took your advice today, I sat down with music playing and sketched out a few designs, until I found one I wanted to paint!
As many of you know, I love painting roses. I have always painted them with simple leaves, and today I wanted to try something a little different. I decided to paint the roses with a full stem/vine, including thorns. While I am not exactly sure why, I feel like this design expresses how I have been feeling. I have learned that there will always be a flaw, or a thorn in my designs, but I need to keep moving forward to the end result, or until I see a beautiful rose. Is that too cheesy? lol That probably didn't even make sense XD
Anyways here is my design :)
The majority of the polishes used were Zoya, except for Porchester Square by Nails Inc which I used as my base :) and NYC Matte Me Crazy which I used as a top coat.
The Zoya polishes used were - Jace, Vespa, Nana, Genesis, and Arabella!
What do you think? I want your honest opinion :) And Constructive Criticism is always appreciated! I want to know how I can improve :)

I feel like (coming from an artistic point of view) that you could add some visual interest and rhythm having varying thicknesses in the thorns because I thought they were leaves. for example dipping a needle into the nail polish or a tiny brush to paint. you can even add details in leaves for the future and vary the dot sizes as well :) BUT in all honesty I don't comment a lot on posts but it's always wonderful seeing your work here...beautiful nails from a beautiful girl haha.

I actually painted the thorns using a glitter, the leaves are the green polish, but I definitely could have executed it better and made it more obvious. Those are gorgeous! I didn't see your post yesterday, but I want to tell you that you are beyond talented. I used to be an art student and there were times I got discouraged and felt like I lost my creativity. It stinks to be in a funk.
