That diorshow compact looks gorgeous and I think in general shimmery pastels are gorgeous but I'm a tan Hispanic and pastels never ever show up on my eyelids no matter if I used primer or a white eyeshadow base they just don't work well with me. Any suggestions?

I LOVE the Josie Maran magic markers!!! They are surprisingly creamy and smooth, but they dry and smooth perfectly into the skin/lips. I have this GORGEOUS coral color, can't remember the name of it... But it's just perfection. You should totally buy it. It's like twenty or so dollars, but hey, it's awesome. :P

I so wanted to show this article to my grandma who's almost 70 and I was like "What?! The only person in my family I enjoy talking about makeup can't have her own trend?!"... I was so disappointed! BUT there is a teen trend, which I think is not really great... Girls apply makeup earlier and earlier and it just pushes them to do so... I think they should have started with 20's to at LEAST 60's! But again, that is just my personal opinion. :)

I am right with u on the age thing. I was only allowed to wear clear gloss and eyeliner *after* I turned 16 and that was pushing it. How much times have changed in such a small amount of time.

Same here! Only a bit of gloss and mascara! Sometimes maybe a biiiit of eyeliner too and only after16!! I remember wanting to wear makeup earlier of course, but my mum would never allow me! It's been 2-3 years I've been wearing makeup and I already see 12-13-year-old girls wearing the same makeup I wear... Don't think it's normal...
