Today I wanted to share a quick review of the Illamasqua Sealing Gel! The Sealing Gel works as a mixing medium for powder or glitter products to seal or otherwise make a product water resistant, smudge/budge proof and overall make it last longer. It works best when you apply it to the brush first, then apply the wet brush to the product. Using any mixing medium with a pressed eyeshadow can prevent a hard "crust" on the eyeshadow, particularly with matte eyeshadows. I will usually pick a corner of the pressed eyeshadow as the "wet" side so I can still use the rest of it dry. The Sealing gel can leave a stiff/dry texture so it's best to use it sparingly. The best part it is comes off easily with your normal makeup remover or face wash, and comes out of brushes just as easy. This is definitely Holy-Grail material!
