You've inspired me to get this shadow next time I'm at MAC. I have the same color eyes/hair as you and I would have never thought to try this particular shade of blue. I think this is an easy way to wear a bright color, can't wait to try. Also, I know nothing about fixative products, and have only seen spray versions. What's the deal with Fix+? Is it intended just for loose pigment? I'm not sure how much it is, but being MAC I wonder if there is a cheaper option.

I'm glad you liked it! And fix+ can be used for several things, to set your foundation, for eyeshadow for other things too, but I can't think of them.
