Did you actually watch the video or did you just read the title? If you watched it, you'd see that I in fact tell people to NOT trim their hair at home. This is a split end mending technique, taught by Sam Villa, One of the best names out there in the industry. If you are a hair stylist you will know this and know that this is the only kind of hair trimming that is ok for people to do at home. All of which is actually explained when you watch the entirety of the video.
