The waist is elasticated at the back for comfort but is flat at the front so it sits wherever you'd like it to sit - on the waist or nearer the hips - and it skims over the tummy in a streamlined and very forgiving way. And there are pockets. Praise be.

Let's talk technical - as a fabric. This is a breathable easy-care; easy-wear fabric. You can pop it in the wash in a garment bag and hang out to dry in no time at all. I hang mine on hangers and find it needs very little in the ironing department, if any at all. Technical fabrics are ideal for travel as they are super light and take up next to no space in your suitcase.

Available in black and sage. Just quietly, I think you'll need both. This skirt shape is the same shape as our Christina animal skirt. You may just "need" her too.
