Hi, my eyelash glue has dried out and I need to use the eyelashes for an upcoming event. I can't afford new ones. Any tips/tricks I can use as eyelash glue?

I don't really think there are alternatives and I wouldnt joke around with adhesives around the eye.

Definitely go to a drugstore and find a cheap eyelash glue. Don't try doing a DIY that close to your eye!

Duo is like $5 or so, Ardell probably sells one for around 3$ at like Walgreens. Even the $1 ELF lashes come with a tiny thing of eyelash glue although I'm not sure of the lasting power of it. Idont think there are any alternatives unfortunately. Renny Vasquez uses weave glue but I don't think that's safe for the eye area lol.

Er, I wouldn't be stuffing around with glue that isn't for they eyes, around the eyes. That's v dangerous. Xx

Yea there isn't really an alternative. Look for a cheap pair of lashes, most come with a tiny container of glue. There really isn't anything else that I would consider safe. And I don't even really consider actual eyelash glue safe unless it doesn't contain latex. Many people have reactions to latex and I would never put even a miniscule amount near my eyes. That's just me though.

Just use a lot of mascara instead, because you can't use anything else to stick them on its not safe and they won't stay.

I work in eye care and I'm afraid that I have to agree with everyone else: Get new glue or just use several coats of mascara on your natural lashes--don't forget eyeliner, of course. Trying anything else could end in total disaster. The last thing you want is puffy, red, irritated eye because you used something that it turns out, in hindsight, you really shouldn't have.

There are a huge list of things out there that can cause nasty chemical burns and abrasions if you accidentally get them into your eyes as well. Worst case scenarios end with damaging your eyesight permanently.
