I have so many split ends and deep condition my hair often. I barely ever use heat on my hair... Other ways to get rid of split ends and damage??!

Hate to say it, but you are going to have to cut the damage off. My hair was so damaged from bleaching for almost 10 years, so I decided to dye it back to my natural color and do everything I could to repair it. Like you I refrained from using heat on my hair and spent a fortune on deep conditioners and reconstructors. I never wanted to cut my hair because the whole reason I was trying to get my hair healthy was because I wanted to grow my hair long. Finally a stylist explained to me that once hair started to split, it will just keep splitting up the hair shaft, and n products can fix that damage. Once you cut off the split ends the cannot continue to travel up the hair shaft making your hair look awful. She convinced me to at least just cut and inch or two off my hair every 2-3 months. I didn't want to do this at all at first, but it sounded better than just lopping a huge amount of hair off. Honestly after doing this about 6 months I could already see a difference in the health of my hair. After each trim I got my hair kept looking and feeling better and better, and the best part was I didn't feel like I was losing a ton of length. Of course my hair wasn't getting any longer, but it wasn't getting any shorter, it just kind of stayed the same length, but was like 100x healthier looking so it actually kind of looked longer because the ends weren't all thin and scraggly. It has been a little over a year I have been doing this, and my hair is now really starting to grow because I have slowly cut off most of the damage. It takes time and patience, but I so glad I just kept with it because my hair would still be a disaster if I hadn't slowly started to get rid of all those split ends that were causing the problems. Hope this helps!
