I've always wanted to get my belly button pierced, but I'm such a chicken lol. how bad does it hurt and how long does the pain last as soon as it gets pierced? (keep in mind I have a low pain tolerance)

I don't have one, but I've heard that it hurts less than a cartilage piercing. You should get it at a time when you'll have a few days to adjust and when it's pierced for a while you should wear loose clothing that the piercing will not get caught on.

Also, make sure to clean it properly and take care of it so it doesn't reject or get infected. Your piercer will instruct you how to clean it.

The pain doesn't last long. It may be sore a few days after but that's what happens when you poke a hole in your body lol. It's really not bad, I have my tragus pierced too & that hurt wayyy more then my belly button.

I have it done it doesn't hurt at all! It's a little sensitive after but do it girl! It's worth it!

If you really want something badly, just get it and the pain would be worth it! it probably won't hurt at all though x

It just hurts for a couple seconds, and the pain isn't that bad at all. Like some of the other girls said, it's a little sore afterwards but like any other piercings if you take care of them, the soreness will go away. I think it's worth it, you should get one!

I have had tons of piercings and by far the least painful. honestly the clamp hurt more than the actual piercing. I thought it really only was sore if I had to bend down or something but nothing too bad.
