I need some help, i absolutely love colored eyeliner, i seriously have thirteen different pencils, but the only way i know how to put it on is to stretch my eye, i know that causes wrinkles and sagging but i cant put it on when my eye is relaxed, any tips??

Liquid eyeliner helps a lot!

A little tug to tighten the skin is the only way I can do it. But I've heard applying from the outside of the lid inward is best!

Liquid eyeliner helps a ton and so does practice! With practice you can put on almost any eyeliner without having to stretch your eye.

Check out the videos on Sephora's website. I learned how to apply a winged eyeliner and a super easy smoky eye

Use the liquid eyeliner. I do it kinda messy at first just to get it even then i touch it up with a q-tip with eyemake up remover or lotion on it so i can get up close and make a nice precise line. :)

Liquid liner is good but also gel liners too. Now both require practice to learn how to do it just right but I've found using the brush with the gel liner is so much easier on my eyes and allows me to create whatever shape I'd like.

I use liquid liner without even touching my eye. But if you want to use pencils, gently pull out and then down at the corner of your eye just to tighten the skin. Be gentle!

I used to use a liquid liner and HAD to pull my lid tight to be able to apply in a smooth line - same for pencil. Now I use mac fluid line with a pointed brush and I never have to pull on my lid because its so easy to apply!

Use it stroke by stroke. Just because a crayon or pencil is hard to apply, you shouldn't totally give up on the whole idea! I usually do a little stroke, then another, until it has fully went where I want it to. I used that method in this picture.

I have heard a few people that just hold their pencil right in front of their eyeball, close their eyes, and just slide the pencil back and forth without stretching their eyes.

A little tug for the thirty seconds it takes to line your eye won't do any permanent damage. I'm 43 yrs old and have fewer wrinkles than all my friends my age. Use Sunscreen and wash your face faithfully twice a day with a trusted brand system. Start eye cream. I recommend Yes to Blueberries eye stuff. Super emollient, nice smell, and literally no new wrinkles since I've used it!

It helps to use an eyeliner that's cream based because it just glides on and you don't have to tug on your eye! I like the too faced eyeliners, you just have to lightly touch them to your eye and it works so well!
