How to do a smokey eye for beginners?

I usually do light looks on myself but I'm thinking of starting to do a smokey eye for some events. I have never done a smokey eye , so I'm wondering how to do one. Thanks to everyone in advanced :)

Ms. Jackie and Alma are definitely the ones to look to for the best smokey eye advice! Ms. Jackie told me to look up robertjonesmakeupacedemy on YouTube , and go to his smokey eye videos , and that's how I mastered my smokey eye, with the advice shed given me along with the video! I can give you some tips though, no harsh lines , no noticeable eyeliner and make sure it's darkest near the lashline , and lightest near the browbone similar to this!
