Diana I've used the Kat Von D foundation before and I felt like it was just too heavy it made me breakout more and the foundation I'm wearing in the picture is Lancôme 24 hour tient ultra but it still doesn't help, but I have to try the Clinique concealer! Thanks!

I really love the Clinique concealer because it is matte and I layer my full coverage concealers over it because they don't really cover the redness too well and I find with the Clinique underneath it makes a big difference for me.

They also have a foundation that works well too.

I have really bad acne scars and I use cover girl 3 in 1 foundation that covers all my scars so well! I also use fit me concealer for touch ups. And since I'm oily I use mac studio fix powder and all my scars are covered. As far as a good cleanser you can try cera ve that really helped me with my acne. I hope I helped!

You also use a setting spray to help keep your makeup in place

Yeah thats true too I actually set my liquid products with a powder foundation (the kat Von D) and then apply my blush/bronzer then to soften everything n blend it all together I use a translucent setting powder then set all that with a matte setting spray by skindinavia that whole setting routine I find allows almost any liquid products to last all day until I wipe it all off

I also forgot to mention that I use my sigma f80 brush I don't know if it makes a difference but this brush just helps give me a full coverage look compared to other brushes I've used before.

Ya the UD matte didn't do much for me either but the all nighter was ok but I like the skindinavia better because it's matte n lasts all day for me.

I have acne on my cheeks, and I cover them up so very well that you can barely notice that I have acne, I have oily skin, and very sensitive. I'll list the products that I use to cover them up.
I don't use a primer I moisturize, I use the Aveeno radiant one (12$)
Then I use my Mac pro long wear concealer (20$), I am in the shade NW25, and I dap just a little on my acne, I don't rub or use a brush to apply it, I use just one finger & dap.
Then for the foundation, I use the sigma f80 brush for a full flawless coverage look, I start to apply the foundation and once I get to the acne areas, I dap again with the foundation. The foundation that I use is the Estee Lauder double wear foundation ($30) and I am in the shade Tawny, this is the perfect foundation for all skin type, med to full coverage.
And for powder I use my rimmel stay matte pressed powder ($4.00) great powder, and very long lasting.
Just to mention you don't want your face to look very cakey or just cakey at all, the products that I listed are all basically full coverage so just be pump and it can give you a great full coverage look without looking cakey at all.
I really hope this helps love, just look at my pictures and tell me if you spot a acne (;.

Gaby do you use a primer?
Apr 11, 2014
Gaby M.
Maria yes I do I use MAC's prep and prime but putting all these different things on my face makes me feel like I breakout more so I do sometimes skip it

Gaby try the Hourglass Immaculate foundation! Its going to help you with acne, acne spots, oil, pores, and so much more. Its generally like a med. coverage but if you build you can get full. Hourglass is exclusive to sephora. Try Derma Doctor Ain't Misbehavin Serum. Its one of the only products that can clear up hormonal acne, not to mention obvi any other types of acne. Lastly you should use Peter Thomas Roth Max Complexion Correction Acne Pads. Once a day, it will change your life!!

Hi Gaby, there's a lady on here who has done a video on full coverage acne, it's amazingly done. Her name is Naseem D, she also has videos on YouTube so definitely check her video out because I think it would really help you. Her acne is worse than yours and her coverage is amazing. Also for the dry patches make sure you exfoliate as much as you can then use a good moisturiser. I personally use jojoba oil. This will aid in healing the scars too. Also trying using AHA products and a vitamin c serum. A change in your diet may help to clear up your acne. Try cutting out dairy products and eating healthier. Hope that helps :)
