My husband has pretty deep acne scars on his cheeks and he has recently started feeling quite insecure about it. other than laser or steroid treatments, has anyone here tried a topical cream or serum that helps reduce the look of acne scars? he has tried dermefface but it didn't help. has anyone tried vichy pro even?

Try lemon juice... But I am not sure it works for deep scars... Good luck anyway! :)

Hi diana...those are some great results! are your scars dark spots or pitting? ny husband has little crater like pits on his face from his acne...would the bha and vitamin c serum work for that?

@Avishan No, he would need something much stronger than that. Ask your dermatologist so he can recommend proper skin resurfacing treatments.

They are a mix of both :T the dark spots are fading but the "craters" are still there but I don't think mine are super noticeable I'm really only concerned with the dark spots.

Yes I do so here is my routine: during the day I wash with the Mario badescu acne wash, then tone with a Mario badescu toner, follow with the resist C15 serum on my spots and then the skin balancing moisturizer with SPF - then at night I wash with this clear Paula's choice cleanser and tone with the same Mario badescu toner - then follow with the BHA exfoliant all over my face - and finally an esterC moisturizing cream all over and that's my daily routine - once a week I skip the BHA exfoliant and wash with an AHA exfoliant by Mario badescu (the glycolic foaming cleanser) and it has been working great for me :)
