I personally love my bare minerals I feel like it sets into my skin so well & last all day, but to be completely honest I don't have any skin problems. So it probably depends on your skin type! Like jacqlyn said, you could try it & take it back! :)

I steer away from eBay when buying makeup cos I'm sure I've had some fake stuff too, I've ordered from feel unique so I know it's guaranteed bare minerals :-)

I love bare minerals I use it basically every day!! If you don't have pretty clear and good skin to start with it's not going to be the best thing for you. It's light/medium coverage

I used it for five years before I realized it was irritating my face( it was far better than the drugstore stuff I'd been using before) I stopped using it and went back and my face wouldn't stop itching. They didn't have the right color for me so I had to mix as well. It's a good makeup if it works for you. Now that I'm 32 powder foundation isn't ideal for my skin. But a natural brand of powder foundation I love is everyday minerals. You can order it online. It's more natural, more shades, cheaper and if you buy three you get a discount. It's a very nice powder foundation.
However, Bareminerals along with any other brand ( whether it'd be tarte, l'oreal, it cosmetics as long as it's mineral foundation. ) should be avoided being used often, and avoided altogether if you have acne prone skin. Mineral foundations usually contain irritating ingredients, which in turn can irritate the skin and create acne. ( Yes BareMinerals, I'm talking about you and your not-natural-at-all ingredients.)
Powder foundations look nice on normal to slightly oily skin. It will definitely look cakey if it's too oily or too dry ☺

I was into bare minerals for a while (which
worked well for me I thought) until I was introduced to Jane Iredale. Jane Iredale is a pure mineral brand as well, and it is sold mostly in spas, medical spas, and dermatologists offices as well as even health food stores here! I started using Jane in 2007 and it definitely helped in the process of clearing my acne. I would never ever use another foundation as long as jane is around!

I personally use both the purepressed mineral foundation and bb cream. depending on occasion.

I've never heard of Jane iredale but that's definitely one I'll look into in the future and kitty thanks for letting me know that it shouldn't be used often that's very surprising.

I like Bare Minerals. I ha e oily skin/dry patches on my cheeks. the finish is beautiful, and never stuck to any dry patches. I just have such a soft spot for liquid foundations that I tend to stry from it. The liquid foundation now is another story. I have been using it for the past week and am torn on it...I like it because 3 drops and my whole face is covered. its quick, easy and hardly any product is used. I hate it because it never sets on my face. primer or setting powder don't really make a ddifferennce. it also clings to my dry patches and falls into my smile lines and fine lines I never knew I had. its heavy too! it is not light coverage or buildable like they say. I think there's better company's out there.

I love how it look when I just applied, but after 2hrs I look like a grease ball. I haver combination skin..I tried for a month and then started to break me out..later I tried out another mineral foundation and I started to break me out too so I guess something in mineral make up don't work for me
