I'm not sure what benefits lotus oil has specifically, but using oils for cleansing and moisturizing the skin can actually help balance out the oil production. Clarins is a pretty good brand though. I personally use Tarte's Pure Maracuja oil :) they have a rollerball you could try for $17. If you're skeptical about the Clarins one try reading some more reviews on Sephora or makeupalley.com.

It's to help purify and normalize your skin. Oil can actually help fight oil. This is 100% pure plant extracts and no preservatives! Also if you do try it out, you can go to sephora and ask for a sample, remember to press it into your skin :) Goodluck!
