I've read some reviews on the Cover Girl 3 in 1 foundation, and I read that I should get a shade lighter than I would usually get because the foundation dries a darker color. Is this true?

Yes it is true. It is a GREAT foundation but I made the mistake of getting my actual color, lol. But it was an easy fix using my lighter concealer and powder :) and it doesn't dry THAT much darker, but it is a little noticeable to some people.

It does oxidize and since I am the lightest shade I have to apply to all skin that shows which is a pain but I love it so much its worth it.

I loved mine, but I found that it did oxidize and also the lightest shade was too dark for me. In my opinon it turned a tad bit orange. But other than those few problems I loved mine, stayed on all day even with my oily acne-prone skin.
