The bird probably because of the wing and the extended writing. :)

Either could work really, and other designs, too. I do agree with Sabrina, the bird would probably be easier, but you could make it work (: I'm planning a cover-up, too, it's difficult to figure everything out!!

The original tattoo us pretty small and dosent look scared or raised so really almost anything could be used to cover it :)

Either would work as a cover up.

Haley it's especially hard because I love so far away from them so it's like I email them my ideas they email me back how it'll work and throw ideas back and then I email them what I don't like about it and would this work this way instead, and back and forth. It'd be sooo much easier to just be able to go in and spend a bit talking about it and seeing things. But, the guy is really nice and really patient with me and my emails lol

And yes Maria is is small and smooth no scaring at all, I was just worried you'd be able to still read it or see it beneath the new tattoo :s.

I like the first one, & I'm sure it would work. However with either of your choices the original May show through the negative space in the cover ups. But it shouldn't be very noticeable at all. Good luck. :)

Either should work. it looks like an easy tattoo to cover up :) I think you should go with the bow, it's so so cute and will look gorgeous it that place!

I'm covering the la dispute flower on my inner forearm...guy who did mine botched it so bad:/ I want to keep with my nature theme, probably will get more flowers tbh (I have two roses on my chest/shoulder). I live far from ny (new) tattoo guy, too, it's so hard! you'll have to post a picture when you're done (:

The pictures you chose are going to be hard to use for the coverups because your skin peeks through the tattoos, so placing those on your tattoo you already have is going to be hard, especially trying to line up the lines. Maybe try something a little more solid?

Lorna G.
I'm not tattoo expert but I do agree with Shayla. There is so much skin within that tattoos you want and the lines won't all align thus showing parts of that tattoo you hate.

I would go to your tattoo artist and find out what he thinks. he is going to be doing the covor up anyways right?
May 2, 2014
Raylene I.
Yes, there's a lot of negative space, bit there is also spots on the tattoos that's solid black as well. It's all about placement if the tattoo over mine. And yes, I am also going to talk to the artist, I just wanted other opinions as well. And Sabrina my bf likes the bow the best, but said it's my body. Lol.

The bird would probably work best with the curve of the body covering the writing. You are going to want something that will distract the eye from the straight line of the writing and the bird does that well I think. I have tattoos but am by no means an artist so talk to your tattooer about it and see what he/she thinks
