Yeah I definitely wouldn't either. Oil is a great way to take off makeup like beautiful miss Emma said. :) Chapstick sounds sketchy lol.

I've always used unscented chapstick as a little magic eraser. It hasn't done any harm. (:

I reccomend loreal's go 360 clean to remove makeup

Well olive oil removes eyeliner and vaseline for mascara, i would say finding homegoods for remover is more sanitary and natural so better.

I'd rather leave my makeup on than use Chapstick.

ive used vaseline to get off waterproof eyeliner, but not chapstick.

i use Clean Artiste by Loreal...eye make up comes off really easy with leaving an oily mess

I wouldn't really recommend Vaseline, due to clogging of pores
