Hey guys. I'm going makeup shopping on Sunday and was wondering what kind of powder looks best in flash photography. Would a pressed, skin color powder be better or a translucent? Thank you! :)

Don't use powders containing silica if you have dry skin as it will give a white cast to your face once flashed back.

There's lots of controversy over translucent powders vs colored powders and foundation w/spf & non spf. Honestly, I don't know what to believe. So, I would play it safe & get a colored powder. Get it in a 1/2 lighter because colored powders in my experience can turn a little darker when the oxidize.
