Recently my foundation and concealers have been getting really wonky on me. I used to be able to last easily 11-12 hours without needing a touch up. However, within the past week to week and a half nothing lasts on my face.
My powder products such as bronzer and blush have been fine but my foundation is completely gone from the bottom of my face by about noon or 1 and my concealer begins to break apart and look as though its sitting on top of the skin all cakey like. Not as a single thing has changed in my skin care. I wear the same foundation and concealer as before and apply it the same way also. The temperature has been steadily rising but I live in Arkansas so it has been a very very gradual change over weeks. I highly doubt my skin could be reacting to that.
In terms of how my skin feels/looks without makeup- it's never been better. I haven't had a single blemish in weeks and its very "normal" (as usual) with not getting oily or dry in the slightest bit. So I'm not sure why I finally have pretty skin and its reacting so poorly to makeup now.
The makeup is new (bought within the past 3 months) so there's no way its expired either.
Could changes in hormone levels be doing this? Any other ideas? I have no idea what to do. But Its grody thats for sure.

Even my lid primers haven't been doing their job. Again, by noon or so, any shadows or liner that I put at my lower lashline has traveled far enough down to make me look like a crack addict looking for my next high.

Maybe something was changed in the make of the cosmetics.

That could be it a new formula for the foundation - otherwise it could be the weather changing that is doing it? Have there been any changes in your environment where you wear your makeup at?

I've been using the new foundation for multiple weeks now and it just started getting weird within the past week. Regardless, I thought I would switch bases because obviously the other one wasn't cutting it- so I switched to another foundation brand that I had on hand and it broke down as well. Nothing at all otherwise has changed. I'm an intense creature of habit so things kind of have to be the same or I get cranky. Hence my crankiness at my ratchet face. :-P hah
Do you think it could be something as simple as not rinsing out my brushes well enough? I thought I was very thorough but thats really all I could think of other than I'm just doomed to a life of tinted moisturizer and sadness.

It could be that your skin has changed too - over time our skin and bodies change just as a normal growing human being so it could your skin Hun :T.

Since you said your skin's never been better, maybe you need products with lighter coverage. I'm not sure uhh f it will help but it might be worth a shot.

I sometimes find that my skin hoods better to a BB cream when it is well, which it has been awesome since Traci helped me with my skincare routine.
