MAC is great, and so is your work.. I say though do a couple of your friends make up so they can see how you do it on others as well as yourself

Make a portfolio of different looks and write a good résumé, it is best if you have some experience wether it be from free lance work, cosmetology or esthetics school, makeup classes anything like that will help. I know then when I was looking into working for Mac they didn't care that I had no retail experience, they were more interested in my résumé & portfolio.

The thing is that it doesn't matter what anyone thinks. If you want it- go for it. Apply and give it what you got. Like Blaine said, work on your resume and portfolio. Good luck!!

Any amount of self doubt Kayleen V. will keep you looking in instead of being beyond those double doors. If you feel that you want to be working at MAC you need to have this mantra running thru your head;"I WILL work at MAC." It might not happen overnight but since you have limited retail experience there is nothing wrong with getting your feet wet at Sephora, build your selling skills and maybe look into taking some freelance gigs. When the time is right make that run to where you really see yourself at. Your work is phenomenal and I think you be just fine. :)
