Besides clip-in extensions, what hair extensions would be best for large bal spots? I suffer from a non-contagious auto immune disease called alopecia areata, where the blood cells attack you hair follicles instead of letting them grow. I'm completely overwhelmed and done with it. Any extensions that could be sewn in without forming traction alopecia and that stay in and you can form any hairstyle with it (including putting hair in a ponytail.) I was thinking of a lace-type extension but not sure how much coverage it would have. I do not like keratin bonds either because I do not want people to see them. Thank! :)

You can do a you-part wig with a silk base closure. That way its like a real scalp and the only thing that you would have to have out is your edges (like literally one less than an inch). You can put it on with adjustable straps (and or wig combs) and you're good to go.
(Here's an example) you can make it yourself. Look at Tiara Monet, fabulasityisme, lover4fashion, etc.

You can also get a lace frontal wig.

You can buy the wig from Bestlacewigs.com for the most affordable.
