I'd suggest looking it up on YouTube! Jaclyn Hill has a video for it:) I think a video tutorial would be best for you to see instead of me trying to explain it haha!

I think the most common mistake is not allowing the glue to get tacky, make sure you wait 30-45 seconds before applying the lash. Before applying make sure you measure the lash to your natural lash and if needed cut them down a bit. Lashes that are less full make easier application for beginners. Also there is a ridge between your lid and natural lash line where the false lashes should sit. Using tweezers tends to help with more precise application. Make sure to press the false lashes into your natural lashes. I hope this helps and good luck!

Oh sorry dawn! Ok you know the part of the lashes that you put the glue on? I put them on my eye. But instead I lay it on top of the lashes.

Tiffany I think that's the problem!! I'm not laying it on the ridge. Argh!

Liz you'll get it, it just takes practice. I never used to be able to apply lashes on myself but could always apply them on others. Now I wear falsies all the time.

@ Jacqueline I know you know the answer. What is the proper term for that 'ridge'

It's so much easier than upper eyelid platform and I feel that people would understand better with a more common word like ridge. As always your knowledge has been informative.
