Colorful Brows for redheads?

I saw the painterly brows article and really want to try this trend with purple. But I am a natural redhead and sooo pale. So my eyebrows are practically invisible. And they can look really dark when I fill them in, any tips on how to try the colored brows trend?

Ps my bangs are dyed black but I think I might switch to dark purple. The switch was the inspiration for the eyebrow thing...
