I use a really big kabuki brush to blend out all my face makeup so nothing is applied to heavy and cakey

I like NYX's kabukis. They're so unique and multopirpose. Kabukis are generally for blending or applying powder products.

I have another question of kabukis. Why do they have the short handle?
Dec 8, 2012
Samantha W.
The short handle is just so you have so much more control and the handle is short and rounded because the Kabuki has such a large amount of bristles unlike a face powder brush. You can use the for anything!

Except maybe not eyeshadows that may be tricky.

Would it work for macs studio sculpt foundation?

Andrea, I tried my kabuki brush with M.A.C studio fix and it was just too heavy for me, I found it was better to use my fingers and roughly blend then rub my kabuki in circular motions all over my face for that extra bit of blending and then press the mineralized skin finish to keep it set.

Liza, almost positive. I saw them last night on Sears website if you'd like to make sure (:
They're really really soft, if that gives you any clue.

Has anyone used the IT Cosmetics Airbrush Blurring kabuki brush? I just bought one yesterday but haven't tried it yet. It's cool because it comes in a little plastic reusable container and I thought it would be good to throw in my purse for touchups.
