Eyeliner, mascara, five or so shadow colors that you like and some blush. that's what I started out with for the longest time. that was when I was about 16, I didn't start wearing foundation and doing a "full face" until I was 20 and I'm 24 now lol
good luck, can't wait to see what you come up with!

What are you interested in? I'd recommend a good pencil liner like Urban Decay's (any color, my personal favorites are Perversion, Rockstar and Stash), and a really good mascara (my personal favorite is Per-fekt Lash Perfection Gel, it's a lovely formula, it has a nice skinny wand that catches every lash, and it's nourishing as well, as opposed to most mascaras). Aside from that, maybe a concealer (I like Mac Pro Longwear for my dark circles, it's nice and light, but covers really well). I'd also recommend a good eyeshadow palette, maybe the Kat Von D Monarch Palette, if you're looking for some easy neutrals for daily use. It's a great palette, with smooth, nicely pigmented colors that are really easy to blend. I highly recommend this to anyone, but as a beginner, don't let your first foray into the world of eyeshadows be a disappointment :)

Get a cream blush, bb cream, concealer (if needed), mascara, a pencil liner, and an everyday lip product. Invest in some good makeup brushes ( I recommend real techniques) and don't forget: please YOURSELF first with your makeup, not anyone else. Makeup is about being confident, not putting on a mask.

For a newbie I would go with bb cream (and powder if you have oily skin) blush, and mascara (clear if you want to go more natural, but if not then brown or black) and concealer for little blemishes and a sheer or light lip color 😘
