Is setting spray are like primer? long lasting?

Yes. You need a setting spray. It is the icing to your foundation. It will really lock everything in. The mentioned ones by Sabrina and M are really good ones. Another good one is any of the urban decay setting spray. If you're on a budget I'd try Nyx setting spray. Also after you apply your foundation allow it to set and then spray setting spray before you finish the rest of your makeup and then spray once again at the end. That way you're double locking it in. Hope that helped :)

Look for a finishing spray.
finishing sprays actually adhere the makeup in place so it won't budge. setting spays, like UD's, reduce the powdery look you can sometimes get, but are not as good as finishing sprays when it comes to long lasting makeup.
if you don't, I would also start setting your foundation with a setting powder. Tarte's Smooth Operator powder is really really great.
