I'll say; drop the smokey(dramatic) eye and go for the red lip cos red works really well with black. And am sure u don't want your face to steal the show, that beautiful dress needs attention too(:

how about doing a brown smokey eye with red lips! I think that's a great balance. :-)

Honestly, I think a nude lip would look better. I've seen a smoky eye with a red lip look very escort-ish, and I think a nude lip always looks classy.

I would go super smokey with the nude. If everything is too matchy, all the red, it's gonna look over done. Keep it simple!

It depends on what type of smokey eye you're doing.
If you're doing a more silver and black smokey eye than you can do red lips, that would look awesome! But if yore doing more of a brown smokey I would say do a nude

Nude lips if you want your dramatic smoky eyes. If you insist on red lips, do a simple cat eye or keep your eyeshadow colors nude.
Whatever you choose, NEVER outshine the bride. Keep your makeup subtle.

I like a sheer red gloss or a glossy nude - like Midnight Cowboy from Urban Decay. Personally I'm not a fan of solid nude lipstick, at least not on myself. So those would be my two choices :)

For me I think smokey eye with a red lip for a wedding is just too much, use a nude lip or red lipstick with a more neutral look in the eye

I like a matte red with a brown smoky eye. I personally use red over the nude because then it draws attention to my eyes and my lips and away from my nose, which I'm a bit insecure about.
