Unwanted sock tan!

I'm going to a wedding on the 15th of December and I'm desperate to get rid of my sock tan that's been with me for 2 years. The tan ends at the top of my knee and starts at around 6 cm above the ankle.

Please suggest some ways to get rid of this ASAP, no fake tans!

I've started exfoliated my legs in the hopes of getting rid of it, will it work in time?

I highly doubt it but you can still keep at it. Personally I wouldn't worry about it if I was you. Everyone's attention is going to be on the bride and groom and by the reception comes into play everyone will be tipsy and your legs will not even be of concern.
