Do something like this! Dewy skin (loreal tru match is a dewy foundation and it has a huge range of colors to choose from for your skin tone). Play up your eyes with golds, purples and blues. Do a rosy pink lip.

Looking at your profile picture you don't seem to have dark skin at all, unless that's one heck of a filter.

But get a foundation, bb cream, or tinted moisturizer in your skin tone. I like to use NARS Lovejoy blush for a very subtle everyday look. Use golds, browns, and purples for simple but effective looks (I use the Lorac pro palette and the too faced chocolate bar, among other things) if you're going to wear lipstick if you want a nude color try MAC Polished Up for a brown color, and Syrup for a more pink color.

I always swear by iman cosmeticd. it's affordable and works like a dream.
Their bb and cream to powder foundations are everything.

Also golds, reds and purple tend to favor darker skin tones more while still looking natural.
