At the end of a work day, my Pro Longwear foundationed face, along with my eyeliner (Mac Blacktrack) is faded and my liner is smudging and I don't even touch my eyes. Also, my dark circles appear after a few hours even with Benefit Erase paste concealer on. How can I look fresh all day?!

Might be time to investigate other products. I can suggest Bobbi Brown for a gel liner because it survives humid Florida summers with no problem for me and I use Bobbi Brown corrector to brighten up my eye area and sometimes if the dark circles are really heavy I reach for the Bobbi Brown concealer. That doesnt budge on me either. Foundation I'm currently using Armani Maestro and the stuff has transformed my skin(in a great way) but its super pricey. And I don't know if it will hold up to the summer weather just yet since I just got it. We shall see....but for now its been a gem. If you're loving your current product line up and not willing to switch it out you might want to check out the setting spray from Urban Decay.

Definitely try a primer underneath and a seyting spray on top.

Thanks for the suggestions! I use Mac's Prep+Prime natural radiance...but there's nothing exciting about it. Can anyone suggest a great primer? Also my skin tends to be on the more oily side so not only does foundation seem to fade, but my face looks like a grease pit. Blotting helps a bit, but i'm sure that contributes to my foundation fading :(

Try a primer! Makeup Forever has good ones! Along with a good setting spray, I LOVE model in a bottle!!

Take Phillips Milk of Magnesia and put it on before your foundation, I have the oiliest skin that make up comes right off of, and this kept me fresh for the majority of the day, God knows how. Then I would get a setting spray, I like the Urban Decay All Nighter or Make up Forever has a good one. As far as eyes go, maybe try some new products.

Try to coordinate with your skin type with your foundation, some are matte and others can be very high gloss! Anything with SPF is likely to be oily as well. I have oily skin so I have found an excellent matte foundation that applies well and the oil doesn't seep through nearly as bad and it does not dry my skin out. It also reapplies really nicely !

my makeup school teacher swears by Nurturing Force's Blot Out Offensive and when I tried it on my oil slick of a face, I understood why. it kept my makeup on til it was time to take it off at night. you can get it at www.camerareadycosmetics.com, where I also buy my MUA kit essentials.
