Which is better 3day old hair, or fresh washed hair. I've heard both. Please help :)

It work best for me when I was my hair, just not condition it.

I've heard that the oil on unwashed hair helps to protect your scalp from the dye and stop your hair drying out so much from the chemicals. But some brands specifically ask for freshly washed hair. So long as your don't have any styling products on your hair, unwashed hair is fine.

Mostly I wash my hair without conditioner, let it dry and then dye it :)
