Hi beauties, I'm looking for a foundation for my oily combo skin. I don't like powdery or completely matte finish. My preferance will be satiny, semi dewy finish with good staying power and medium to full coverage. I have medium skin tone with yellow undertone. I have already used revlon colorstay and not very impressed.

Thanks for the suggestion Jacqlyn. Will look into it.. is the finish matte.? I kinda hate matte finish ones. I feel it makes me look plain..!! lol..

Honestly... Nars sheer glow foundation with Maybelliene Baby Skin pore easer primer makes my makeup sooooo bomb & flawless.
I used to useeee... I think... BareMinerals foundation primer, & that made me a grease monster.
But yeah... Nars Sheer Glow in the color Tahoe is bomb with the primer. I hardly if ever, use blotting papers. & by the end of the day it gets more & more flawless.
I'm medium with yellow undertone as well...

I have never used Mac foundations. They are ridiculously expensive in where I live.. Almost thrice it's price in US. :(

LÒreal True Match! My holy grail foundation. I really didn`t like Revlon Colorstay it made me break out badly. I also hate having a matte finish. I like LÒreal True Match because if you have oily skin (like myself) it doesn`t make you look like an oil slick lol. But it`s also great for combination skin, it has a beautiful satin finish and feels very light on the face.

Estee Lauder, Nars Sheer Glow are phenomenal foundations for combination oily skin. And it really boils down to skin care, the more water you drink and the more simple your hydration methods for your skin will help too I swear by indie Lee squalene oil.

I'm oily as well, and pressing Baby Skin into my skin, works nice. Idk maybe it's because we are all different, and we should try & see what works well for our skin.

Anyway. @Sana, for me it's full coverage. It's buildable... It's like 42$ 😳 which is like oh girl. But yeah. It's worth the try ❤️❤️.

Do you happen to live in Australia? Because here like you said mac makeup is crazy expensive, $30 for a Lipstick, $41 Blush, $60 and up for Foundation

I live in Malaysia. Here also Mac products are way more costly than it's actual price but luckily not as pricey as in Australia.. I have heard from my friends that in Australia Mac prices are  insane..

I think Mac is quite expensive and I'm in the UK. Not as expensive as Chanel, Nars, Dior etc.but about £18 for a lipstick. To answer the question, I am oily/combination and I really like Maybelline Fit Me foundation (I've got the liquid in a bottle, not the stick). It has a dewey finish and has matching powder (which doesn't make you look "powdered" like old ladies look "powedered) and concealer as well I think. What I particularly like about it is that it does not sit in my pores. When foundation does that I feel like it looks crap and that everyone can notice it. I have also bought a Dior Capture Serum foundation recently (v expensive, I mean £60 in the UK) but I really like it. I look like me but better. Can't really explain it. It evens you out and is full coverage but feels lighter. I think it might be their product which is aimed at more mature skin (I just turned 49)
