No doesn't do anything at all with growth but on the other hand dying and bleaching hair does cause dryness and split ends and damaged hair in general so once you get your ombre make sure to keep your hair healthy keratin sprays are great for you hair I love my tresemme one and argan oil and moraccon oil are wonderful too hope I could help :D

If done by a professional who know what they are doing then no it will not but if done by someone who doesn't have much experience it can because when I dyed my hair blonde underneath my bottom hair it damaged it and my hair broke off and after dying my hair back to my original color and stopped using heat in my hair it grew back but it took almost 2 years o restore the damage and my hair is slowly growing back.
