I love you smokey eye for daytime look. It shows that you don't have to do/apply super dark eye shadow to make this look happen. And you eyes make it POP.

I would just use a bit more makeup for photo taking but other than that your pretty good!! I can't wait to see how awesome your going to get in the future, you'll be incredible!

To be completely honest I think photos 1 and two seem a little amateurish, and I understand you are just starting out so they aren't going to be like... Megan Martinez material. I think all of the simpler looks are fine, but I feel like you are bringing the crease colors up too high to the inner part of your brow.
Back to the 2nd photo, I am not quite sure what you are trying to get across. Were you inspired by something? If so, what was it. The eyebrow in that picture also looks a little sloppy. It seems as though you brought the black down too close to your brow bone rather than just keeping it within the hairs.
I hope you take my criticism with open arms. Please don't get offended by any of my comments. It is just my honest opinion.

You asked for honest opinions and that's what Dana gave you! Don't take it to heart! You're very young still and you've got plenty of time to develop your skills! Anyway I do agree with Dana. I have no idea what products/tools you use and I am I'm not a make up artist myself but I would say perhaps start collecting some different brushes so you have more tools for different techniques. Also maybe look at some more pigmented products. And just practise! And I hope this doesn't sound condescending but for a 12 year old I would say your skills are pretty good :)

I am sorry if I offended you, but you wanted my opinion and I gave it. And I wasn't I am any better than you. Sorry if you took it the wrong way,

I think your looks are really great for a first attempt! I think you have a beautiful eye shape. I would suggest trying some bolder looks. The cheetah one was a little safe for me. It may have looked completely different in person, but I'm going off the photo. I would try doing some more dramatic eyeliner. And I would definately look for matte lip products. Your lips are pretty full ( which I think is attractive, not putting you down) and I think matte lip colors would look better (: I hope this was helpful.

Try sharpening your pencils more. It looks like they are flaking or bleeding because they are too dull. and the two colors on the outermost part should be more vibrant. Try putting a white cream base under all of the eyeshadows.

I think you guys need to back off her a bit! She's only 12 for gods sake! You can't expect a 12 year old to be the best at everything! You probably couldn't do better than that when you were 12! I like the redid leopard print one! But I'd say just do the print in the corner not all the way across! Hope this helps! Xoxo

Yeah Jocelyn, it was directed towards you. I totally agree. I feel like you are rushing into an area know little about. Just think of it like going camping. You've gone in your back yard where bunnies roam but you are suddenly jumping into coyote territory.
lol terrible analogy, but I think you can understand what I am saying.

Allix, I think you need to calm down. One thing that you and Emma need to realize is that if you can't take criticism you are probably not going to get far. She asked and we answered!

I do know what you are saying! I've been doing make up since I was really little! I've been in more than 10 face shows with different themes each time meaning different makeup application each time! She asked for constructive criticism not to be yelled at!

If you are referring to me I am not yelling at her. I merely gave my opinion. I am however yelling at you. You have no right to get upset with me or Jocelyn. We didn't hurt you, and as Emma just stated, we didn't offend her. So I think you need to take your petty drama and leave.

She isn't being yelled at at all. I think people are trying to respond to her in a none condescending way by telling her their honest opinion! It's much better than talking to her like a baby and telling her it's great even if that's not what they really think. I think everything that has been said is constructive and she can only learn from it.

I'm not wasting my time on you anymore! All I was trying to do was help a girl who wanted help! I do know what im talking about. And hunny buy a personality stop studying your comebacks for opportunities to come up like this!

Emma, I understand you are asking for opinions and like I stated before I meant no offense, which I now understand you didn't take any, but you keep on giving a rebuttal to EVERY critique we give. So it seems like you aren't accepting our criticism. Just a thought. I might be completely off.
