All my friends say I take too long, and some have gone to accuse me of having a lot to hide / cover up because I take so long.
How about, NO!
To do foundation, highlight/contour, lips, smokey eye, mascara ect ect. It'll take me an hour - hour and a half. What's so wrong with me trying to perfect everything?
Does it take you ladies this long too?

I actually wouldn't have the patience to work that long on my makeup lol. I never work longer on a look than 30 minutes (foundation, minimal contouring, eyeshadow, eyeliner, eyebrows, mascara, lipstick) but on a normal day (school etc.) it takes only 10 minutes because I'm too lazy to get up earlier haha.

It takes me 10 to 15 minutes to do just my eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara. But if I really want to look really good. It takes me 30 to 40 minutes to do all foundation, lips and all that other stuff.

All together it takes me about 40-60 minutes, but I skip two days a week because of my schedule. my roommate spends about an hour a day getting ready. So I'd say an hour is kind of normal in my household.

About 45 minutes! My boyfriend says I take way too long lol. The majority of that time is spent just on my foundation. I'm kinda obsessed with making sure it's completely blended and everything is covered! I can do my eyes in like 5 or 10 minutes though.

It depends on what I'm doing. I have three I really do depending on where I'm going. One is a quick face (bb cream concelar powder brows with gel mascara chap stick) that takes about 10 minutes (I'm a perfectionist and don't know how people do makeup in 5 minutes!!) the second is more in depth and takes about 30-45 minutes (primer foundation concelar powder brows with powder and clear gel blush eye liner mascara lip gloss or lip stick) and last is when I'm going out somewhere special and takes about an hour and 15 minutes (primer foundation concelar powder bronzer blush highlight powder brows with clear gel and a full eye such as lid shade crease shade brow bone and inner corner shade and outer corner shade eye liner mascara lip liner lipstick and lip gloss)

It takes me 25 minutes. But just for the face + brows. I ain't talking about the eyes of lips because it depends but I think that to do my everyday make up routine I need 35-40 minutes. And I can take HOURS if it's a special event or even just for a night out :)

I feel you girl!! No matter how much I put on or how little I out on its always about an hour :/ I just need every little detail to be perfect, I know it won't be but its not even that I think it looks bad, I can just FEEL that something's wrong on my face :p I wouldnt doubt that I have makeup OCD 😜

Girl your awesome! You tell them your trying not to cover a lot! lol and just tell them your a perfectionist. In fact I tell my friends ( this might sound corny...) that I think of my face every morning like a blank canvas I get so excited that it takes me a while to finish my master piece lol and Claire the estimated time it takes you is the same amount of time it would take me to do everything only about an hour though. You get faster beleive me lol but only like 30 min for simple makeup

Depends on the day. I wake up between 4:20am and 4:30am and I have to be to work at 6am and have anywhere from a 30 minute drive to a 45 minute drive depending on traffic.
Monday through Thursday I only do my eyes and maybe my lips. That can take me 5 minutes or a 20. I don't highlight, contour, etc.so my face is the easiest and fastest part of my routine. So makeup plus my face can take 20 to 45 minutes
