I agree with Renay this is not a Smokey eye you did do a great job doe, really compliments your eyes:)
and also Smokey eyes are suppose to be black and fading out think of it as smoke, its black/dark gray (fading) hope I helped

A smokey eye does not have to include any black it just has to have the darker color on the lid and usually line the bottom lash line with that color.

Hello doll. :) The look you have created is more along the lines of a gradient eye. A smokey eye usually consists of three colors. Now I'm not going to get to into detail, for times sake and because I know for a fact if you asked one of the mods they would thoroughly explain it to you,but here I go.
To start making a smokey eye you should prep and prime like you normally would. Then (what I do) take a smudgable liner ( I use Rimmel London's gel liner) and line your lashes where you would normally put liner; however, then you need to smudge it out until there are no harsh lines. Next I add my lightest shadows, I usually use my Urban Decay Smoked Palette, so I take the shade freestyle and apply it in my crease and slightly above. Then I take the shade Backdoor which is a deep brown, and I put that in my crease and slightly above. Next I apply Blackout on my lid. Ms.Jackie and Alma, say that blending is a very important part in creating a successful smokey eye, so the transition from one color to the next has to be almost invisible. This meaning you can't tell where one color stops and the next starts. Now I recently learned that the shape deals with adapting it to fit your eye, however know that a smokey eye has no winged liner.

Oh and do t forget to smoke out the bottom lashline a bit using either a dark brown or a soft black.

Thank you everyone!! I used 2 mascaras ( both my loves lol) WnW mega length and maybelline the rocket.. Next eye look you will definitely tackle the smokey eye!! :)
