Hi!
I never use blush due to the fact that I always get the porcelain doll look-a-like comment since I have such fair skin (the few times I tried, I got called a Geisha).
Pinks always come off too harsh no matter which shade.. Any of you know of a palette or a duo that has interesting color combinations in which compliment eachother when used together? I keep seeing the same fuscias and pinks. I'm more into the lighter oranges and rosey taupe colors. Google is no help!!
This picture is an example of what I'm looking for.. It's a bit dramatic but you get the point :-P

Nyx has a great orange blush. taupes or mauves would look pretty, too. e.l.f in coy, nyx baked blush in chiffon. maybe experiment with some cheaper options. I wonder if you could wear nars nico as a blush! its a very pretty nude tone.

Oh wow thanks for all the suggestions! What about color combinations you can wear together?

Nars douceur or luster might be good for you, they're both neutral and decidedly not pink. Even something like Tarte Blissful or Darling might be up your alley.

@ Jill I have fallen in love with this color. I wear it when I go heavier on the eyes because it still give color without going overboard.

Try cream blushes. They go on right on top of your foundation or naked skin and look really natural. The cool thing about cream blushes is that they can be sheered, if that's a word, out to a minimal.

Now colors I would say, peach tones, orange, light pink, nothing too dark. You should watch Robert jones makeup color theory.

This is the video Diggie is talking about and it's a wonderful wonderful video.

Try one of these (I would swatch for you but as I'm on the complete opposite end of the color scale it really wouldn't do you any good).

Top: NARS Mata Hari
Middle: MAC Peaches
Bottom: NARS Day Dreaming

Ugh I know how you feel, pale skin is hard to work with sometimes (actually, most extreme colors in makeup can be) but essence blush in natural beauty is a good neutral blush for pale skin, and rimmel London in pink rose.
