I have sworn off ALL box dyes and there is Sally's right down the road...

I know the general process of what to do so really I'm looking for PRODUCT SUGGESTIONS like color correctors, dyes, etc. thanks :)

I would say instead of dying it, maybe use hair chalks? It would mean you could change the colours easily and it'd be much less damaging to your hair. :)

I hear when going dark, henna is a good alternative to hair dye. I don't know much about it, but I know it's sold at lush. I would look into it!

I also hear it lasts longer.

I want a permanent dye. my hair is bright purple right now so I need to get back to normal to give it a break lol.

I know basically nothing about henna. But I would use garnier. It's very nourishing and really does give good color.

They have a wide line of shades, too. I'm sure you can find exactly what you're looking for. I would opt for a more "expensive" brand if you don't use garnier because the cheaper dyes tend to fade quickly.

Use a brown with a gold base to neutralize the purple tone in your hair. Even though gold is a warm tone the end result over the purple should result in a pretty rich brown tone.

I like the more silver/ashy/cool tones so I'm not too worried about the warmth in the photo. I would actually prefer a "cooler" version of the picture :)

If you just fade the purple out, without bleach, then you should be able to use any ash brown from Sally's. I'd wash with baby shampoo or hear and shoulders and dish soap a few times, it should mostly come out. Then go to Sally's and buy whichever ash brown color looks best to you. :)
