HELP! If you look at my face, you can't see any whiteheads. If I squeeze anywhere on my face, that whitehead crap will come out! I exfoliate but, clearly that is NOT helping! What can I use to get these out of my pores?

You know I have the exact same problem on my chin and nose. I'm not sure what to do to help. Maybe try a toner daily? I hope others answer with ideas!

What are you using as an exfoliant right now, Stephanie? If you are only using a manual exfoliation method, like a cleansing brush or a scrub of some kind, I would highly recommend that you look into using a well-formulated BHA product as well. BHA, otherwise known as salicylic acid, will help to get rid of the sebum currently clogging your pores and, with consistent use, will help to keep them from getting clogged again. AHA, if you already use that, is really great for exfoliating the surface of the skin, but not inside your pores, like BHA.

If you have clear skin but when you squeeze it white strands come out those are called sebaceous filaments, you have a over production of sebum ,and squeezing them just makes it worse ,and so will over cleansing ,this won't really go away it's a natural process some people just produce more you should do cleansing with a benzoyl peroxide cleanser at night and a gentle cleanser like cerave in the morning and try oils like argan into your skincare to help you not produce as much oil ,you can also try to exfoliate gently using Aha ,but don't irritate your skin because that will make you produce even more sebum.
