1. Apply one coat of mascara.
2. Apply some Vaseline.
3. Apply another coat of mascara.
On the left is my lashes with this technique and on right is one coat of mascara.

Vaseline can cause clogged pores on the eyelid and can clog tear ducts and other glands which causes styes. Although it looks nice I wouldn't recommend this technique.

Everyone here will tell you Vaseline is a sealant! It's sealing your mascara which is double bad :( I wouldn't recommend this technique girly you could get eye infections and it traps bacteria in there.

Glad that works for you hun but I'm with bekah Vaseline is not good it should not be anywhere near your eyes no matter what people say it will give you and eye infection becaue it is trapping bacteria

What I do is put water on finger then I apply a small amount on my eyelashes. Just to make them damp. (I act like my finger is a mascara brush) I find the results aren't as good as this but they're better than just putting mascara on! Hope this makes sense ^_^
