I tried it and it did clear up the acne I started to get however, it all the depends on the person because when my neighbor got it, it did not help her. Just find a deal on it. Maybe get it from their machine at one of your malls? Instead of calling a 800 number.

I know it works for some people, but my boyfriend uses it and it keeps his skin mostly clear but doesn't really prevent any incoming acne, which he isn't that acne prone so it wasn't that impressive. And my brother tried it too and it cleared his skin for a little but he still had terrible breakouts while using it and he decided to give up on because it wasn't helping.

I tried one product and it burned horribly. My skin isn't that sensitive usually, I have been using acne treatments for years and it was the only one that burned instantly. I think it will work for some people, but I think it's mainly marketed at teenagers. I don't think it will usually help for very severe cases of acne. It would probably be more cost effective and more beneficial to just see a dermatologist and get a prescription. I paid more at the initial visit but the products I got take forever to run out and they are actually very effective.

I used it years ago. It helped for a while (although my skin was never perfect) but once I reached the 2 year mark my skin erupted in pimples that were super painful. One was so bad above my lip that it looked like I got in a fight and lost. The only way I could get it to calm down was to go on accutane. I've heard others have had a similar experience because they develop a sensitivity to one of the ingredients. You couldn't pay me to use it again.

I'm currently using it and it's working pretty well! I still get the occasional pimple or 2 but it really doesn't bother me.
It hasn't excessively dried out my face because I have really oily skin.

I just use the cleanser once a day. the other steps (products) dried/somewhat burned my face. it's been working so far. I have normal to sensitve skin fyi.

Proactive worked fantastically on me! I didn't have acne, just a few blemishes that would take forever to go away! So my mother suggested proactive, my blemishes never came back! It made my skin very soft & smooth! I still use it about twice a week to make sure nothing comes back but there products are really great!!
