No I didn't use a lipliner and yes I got the violet one! It's gorge but doesn't mesh w my skin tone. I do better with cafés, browns, and nudish colors. My sister looked at me and said, "ummm..no"

@tonita. honestly you can wear almost anything. its just about using a liner. if you use a brown n blend it it will help the color transition to your skin.. New things always take some adjustment and getting used to.
meaning, first you have to allow yourself to wear it, but you also may have to play around with it to male it your own.. its 2a. I'll think of some colors for you to try when I have all my braincells going again. lol
