Make sure to clean your brushes. That can be a big culprit. Also, go for mineral based, and talc-free.

Alot of blushes contain red dyes. Some of these dyes are good, but the there are certain #s that are highly comedogenic. Thats why so many get acne on their cheeks. Alot of girls don't realize that blush really contributes to acne. I try to wear it as little as possible. (I believe it's red #27, 33, I don't have the list on me. If anyone is curious feel free to post on my profile and ill let you know when I get to my computer )

Mineral make up does no favors for acne prone skin and other irritating and comedogenic ingredients contribute to acne as well.

Omg kitty, you are so right about blush, every time I use blush I get a new pimple, so I use it as little as possible, I thought I was just allergic to all blushes.

I'm currently using Tarte's Amazonian Clay blush. Anyone have the skinny on that one in particular? I am acne prone, and have breakouts in no specific area of my face.

Its not so much the red dyes that cause me grief but the preservatives. I love Tarte Amazonian Clay blushes...collected every single color but everytime I reached for it...bada bing...irritation on my cheeks. A allergy test taken for something else I learned that a common preservative was the culprit and Tarte has it in their blushes. I was so freakin' crushed. I had to give them away. :(
